'If It's Football, It's Vital'

It`s Saturday 16th April!

After Manchester City (don`t laugh) crashed out of the Europa League tonight, we can confirm that we will play our much awaited FA Cup semi-final, against City, on Saturday 16th April.

Tonight, City could only muster a1-0 win to go out, on aggregate 2-1. after being reduced to ten-men when their fiery and very temperamental striker, Balotelli, was sent off.

As advertised earlier, the defeat means that a certain Ricky Fatton will not be able to watch his beloved City side lose at Wembley, due to a Boxing Promotion, therefore ending any hopes the club has of ending their 35 year wait for a trophy.

My, how I`ve enjoyed tonight!

I tried not to laugh but nearly ended up quite literary****ing myself while laughing. Champions League? They can't even beat Kiev on aggregate with the away league at home. Tinie tantrum proved to be a liability as per usual for 'em. Hopefully he plays at Wembley, a man down before a ball has even been kicked.

The facts speak for themselves TF7. 2 years back we finished 40 points of top spot, last season we finished 19 points off top spot, cutting the gap by more than 50%, this season we are currently 7 points off top spot going into the final stretch. We have reached our first FA Cup semi final in 30 years. It's all there in black and white for you TF7 the blue moon is rising.

It takes a bit more than a slow progression to win the league. Coming 3rd and 4th is a completely different ball game to challenging for the title. Bear in mind, our squad hasn't really clicked all season and despite being top, the performances are below par. Had us and Chelsea been playing well all season that 7 points off top would've looked far more impressive. As for the blue moon rising, it's a false dawn if you ask me.

Look at the progression in two years, we went from a team that was flirting between mid table mediocrity and relegation battle to contenders for CL's spot. If we keep progressing at the rate we are we will have a good tilt at the title next season. I'm sorry mate but if you can't see that your head must be up your arse.

If you think you're ready for the Champions League and Premier League then your heads up your ass mate. It's a massive step from 3rd/4th to challenging for the Premier League and the Champions League. Bearing in mind you struggled against Kiev how will you cope with a much more competitive challenging Champions League? What effect will the increased competition have on your players? Will the squad have enough playing staff and depth to cope with the demands of the fixtures, with alot of players looking like leaving in the summer, it's questionable. Then there's the financial fair play rules which you clearly don't abide by, with your wage's heavily outweighing your revenue alone. Then there's a clear over reliance on Tevez who future at City is also questionable. Like I said, I can see you collapsing at the final hurdle.

Funny peculiar maybe. Face it dub, the rags cannot admit to being rather worried about us - it's part of the pathology of being a rag that even when we're level with them that they will stick their heads in the sand and deny it.

fcb I won't deny you your progress as far but I think with the financial fair play coming into action relatively soon your progression is going to hit a grinding halt. To get the fanbase needed to support your outgoings you will need successful Champion League football over a sustained period of time which wont happen due to the financial fair play rule. http://blogs.independent.co.uk/2010/10/08/qa-on-financial-fair-play-and-the-mountain-manchester-city-have-to-climb/

TF7 - we are well aware of the FFP rules ( which are designed to protect the bigger clubs in Europe ) and so are our owners. Why do you think such a large investment has been made in such a short space of time? The bridge in quality in the squad had to be addressed before these rules came in. And another thing we've doubled our revenue in less than twelve months through the great work being done by ADUG and everyone involved behind the scenes at City. Then there's the investment being made in East Manchester by ADUG which will generate massive amounts of revenue as well as benefitting the community as a whole. I'm sure you've missed them reports or just blatantly ignored perhaps if you think the FFP rules are going to bring our progression to a grinding halt. Open your eyes mate and you might then appreciate what is happening.

My eyes are wide open, you're the one oblivious to the obvious. I suppose it will be a matter of time then before we find our whether you qualify for the financial fair play or not. With the way things are, i'm pretty certain you wont.

I'm sorry TF7 but you are extremely ignorant and incredibly stupid if you believe that. Do you really think that ADUG would have made this investment without knowing and preparing for these rules? City were one of the 14 PL clubs that sat in on the UEFA meetings to ratify these rules. Your ignorance defies belief. I don't intend to be offensive but you really need to do a bit of research on this before spouting the nonsense you are.
