Currently caught up in all the furor relating to the England captaincy position, Rio Ferdinand also has other matters on his mind.
Currently out injured, with a calf problem picked up in the warm-up ahead of our Premier League game, against Wolverhampton Wanderers, Sir Alex Ferguson has given an indication that Rio may well be out for the remainder of the season with the boss remarking to the media,
"We aren`t looking at this as a short-term situation - we will be lucky to get Rio back for some part of the season."
It sort of puts things in perspective a little when it comes to the squabbling over the England captaincy doesn`t it?
