United - The Rodwell Files

United - The Rodwell Files

The last two days have seen the name of Jack Rodwell and Manchester United linked in the same sentence.

Rodwell, a talented midfielder, is said to be a summer transfer target for United.

Yesterday, one news agency carried the briefest of statements that David Moyes, the Everton manager, had almost conceded that Rodwell will be moving to Old Trafford providing the fee is significant enough to tempt Everton to part.

Today, another news agency has decreed that David Moyes is reluctant to sell Rodwell and that Manchester United can forget about signing him on the cheap.

The moral of the story being he`s for sale but at the right price, just no indication (at present) of just what that price will be!

Unfortunately for Moyes, he doesn't have much control in the situation. The smell of money will surely attract the owners attention and will ultimately be the decider. I bright talent who may be able to make in an instant impact. Not that desperate though, if they are willing to take 10-15 mil then sure sign him up anything more, well, they best find another mug.
