'If It's Football, It's Vital'

United - Nani Speaks Out!

Now that the media blackout has been well and truly lifted, the media world is getting flooded with quotes as a club of our stature gets the coverage normally associated with it.

Inside the sports pages of the tabloid press today, are some quotes form Nani. They relate to the recent injury collected at Anfield, courtesy of Jamie Carragher, and it looks as if something of a spat could be developing, with Nani commenting,

"The first time I looked at my leg, I was thinking, 'the season is finished for me`

"That`s why I was crying. I don`t know what Carragher was thinking but I do know what he did was not football. He came to apologize to me but I said I was not happy when he 'did` me."

"If you ask anyone in football after they have suffered a tackle like that, they are not going to accept an apology - especially as it is the second time he`s taken me out."

"Before, he put me out of the game for two months. He always tackles like that."

I wonder if Jamie Carragher will be so polite as to offer a reply.

What can he possibly say? The guy is your typical scouse wayanchor. Maybe Nani should've buried the hatchet there and then but at the same time he knows the damage his tackles cause and persists on performing them. He's not sorry at all, if he was he wouldn't be so intent on trying to end careers.
