United - Injury Crisis?

United - Injury Crisis?

As we head towards the climax of what could be a monumental season, our squad is being ravaged by injury.

Last night, John O`Shea and Rafael Da Silva both limped out of the action with what appeared to be hamstring injuries. With Nemanja Vidic expected to be out for up to three weeks, Jonny Evans still out and with Rio Ferdinand no nearer a return, those fresh injuries leave Sir Alex Ferguson with only four fit defenders to face Bolton Wanderers this weekend, those four being Wes Brown, Chris Smalling, Patrice Evra and Fabio Da Silva.

Add to that the fact that Ji-Sung Park, Owen Hargreaves, Darren Fletcher and Anderson are also still injured, it`s clear that Sir Alex`s midfield options are also being affected.

Between the sticks, Anders Lindegaard is out for five weeks after having a knee operation, thereby giving Sir Alex Ferguson a massive headache with ten of his nominated squad of twenty-five not available.

They point to testing times ahead for a difficult encounter with a Bolton side that are no mugs.

Darren Ferguson?! When did we sign him? :P I'm a strong believer that it was our injuries last season that prevented us winning the league. I've got a horrible feeling the injuries this season will have the same effect. Lets have another miracle heal along the line of Nani's please.
