'If It's Football, It's Vital'

United - Bring on Barcelona?

Well it`s not exactly what Rio said but the few words he did speak have, as usual, been turned around by the tabloid media world.

Talking after the 2-1 win over Marseille had seen us qualify for the last eight of the Champions League, Wayne uttered the following,

"We will be confident we can win whoever we get in the next round. If you are going to win this tournament you have to play anyone - and beat them."

"It was a tough game, we knew Marseille are a big physical team but we came through and just deserved it in the end."

You see! No mention of Barcelona, isn`t it wonderful how things are turned around?

Personally, I`d prefer to save Barcelona for the final, wouldn`t that be a tasty dish to serve up in front of a full house, at Wembley, on May 28th!

No thanks to Barcelona. Hopefully they get knocked out, I might fancy our chances then but until then, the CL is a faint hope.
