United - An Early Injury Status Report

With the games coming thick and fast now there`s always going to be the chance that several players may pick up knocks that will see them not under consideration for selection.

As we prepare to face Marseille, this evening, the roll call of wounded who may or may not feature is believed to be as following:-

Nemanja Vidic - expected to play after missing training courtesy of a knock picked up in the FA Cup quarter final against Arsenal.

Darren Fletcher - expected to miss the match through illness.

Michael Carrick - expected to return after missing the FA Cup clash with Arsenal

Nani - despite protestations last week about being out until April, could make a surprise early return tonight.

Ji-Sung Park - still a week away from a return.

Never in contention for consideration - Owen Hargreaves, Anderson and Rio Ferdinand

These bloody injuries!! Nani, Valencia, Park, Vidic and Fletcher are on the verge of returning and the squad is beginning to look stronger then O'Shea and Fabio go and get injured! What's happening lately? Injuries are becoming increasingly common in our squad and dare I say it came at the expense of the PL last season, hopefully it doesn't come at the expense of the PL this season.
