United - Ferguson`s Marseille Warning

Anybody expecting Manchester United to roll over Marseille tonight would do well to heed the words of warning from Sir Alex Ferguson.

Although United usually prosper against French sides, on English soil, Sir Alex has had them watched and knows what to expect, offering the following comments,

"We are playing an experienced, powerful Marseille team and we will have to play well."

"I`ve watched twice away against Monaco and Rennes and they showed these qualities we will be up against in this match."

An early goal would settle the nerves!

That Hernandez goal done anything but settle my nerves to be honest. I worked my way through my finger nails and was beginning to contemplate the toe nails! :P
