United - Ferdinand Stitched Up?

The speculation that Fabio Capello, despite reportedly telling Rio Ferdinand otherwise, is set to re-appoint John Terry as the captain of England will be a huge disappointment to Rio Ferdinand, if true.

If, as the red-top press are speculating, John Terry replaces the injured Rio as captain for the clash with Wales, in Cardiff, and as Capello reportedly stated it will not be a temporary decision, with Terry reportedly being forgiven for his previous indiscretions, Rio can consider himself unfortunate.

His time as captain of his country has been blighted by injury, a training camp incident ruled him out of the entire 2010 World Cup in South Africa and this season it appears that one knock after another has kept him on the sidelines for longer than anyone would have wanted.

Therefore, to be brutally honest, although I`m probably going against the grain here, did, under the current circumstances, Fabio have any other choice?

Who cares? Capello's just one big fat joke as is the England team.
