'If It's Football, It's Vital'

United - City Revenge!

Talk is cheap but that is probably the only thing that is over at cash-rich Eastlands!

The minute those four ball were emptied into that bowl, out of the velvet bag, you just knew didn`t you, that the two Manchester clubs would be paired together.

You also knew that once City had scraped past Reading that the war of words would commence.

But one word is already springing to prominence as far as this forthcoming tie, at Wembley, is concerned, that word being REVENGE!

Just picking up a tabloid this morning you cannot help to notice that word included in the article text with Micah Richards being the first to drag it into the fray.

Apparently, Richards and his team mates are still a little sore over the spectacular Rooney goal that saw them defeated at Old Trafford, with Richards commenting,

"Yeah! Definitely after Rooney`s overhead kick last time, but we`re looking forward to it. It should be a great game."

It certainly will, but we`ll let our football do the talking, after all it`s worked for the last 35 years has it not!

No doubt 1 or 2 of our players will feel compelled to dish out a cheap shot though. We beat them on the field and it will always come down to the usual, "ref was on your side", "you were lucky", "the result shows we're not far off" and "it took a good goal to beat us". We don't just outplay and beat them, we win in some spectacular unjust fashion.

Seriously Red Boy? where does anyone mention revenge? Micah was interviewed after the Reading game by ESPN and was asked was he looking forward to the semi and he answered, that is where the quote is from. This is worse than tabloid journalism.
