'If It's Football, It's Vital'

United and FC United - A Potential Date!

The FA Cup continues to generate moments of magic but the best one could be yet to come.

I`ve read that one of the recent traditions of the greatest domestic cup in the world involves inviting the side that has caused the biggest upset in the competition to a VIP event at Wembley Stadium.

It`s one of those affairs whereby those associated with the club who produced the greatest shock are invited to a function to meet the dignitaries of the clubs involved in the FA Cup final to claim the wonderfully named Ronnie Radford award.

Now what makes this even more intriguing is that it is FC United of Manchester who, after beating Rochdale, holds the status as the biggest cup shockers when it comes to league places between the two sides.

Providing we beat Manchester City, in the semi-final, wouldn`t you just love to be a fly on the wall as the very people that were responsible for forming FC United meet up with the very people that caused so many disenchanted supporters to make such a move!

I bet that`ll wipe the smile of the Glazers faces!
