'If It's Football, It's Vital'

United - A Silva Lining?

Called up to play a role that they`d not possibly contemplated playing, our Brazilian twins more than did themselves justice.

Fabio and Rafael didn`t look out of place playing in a midfield quartet and the fact that Rafael scored his first goal for United, a goal that set us on our way, would have been added bonus to both Sir Alex and Rafael.

Speaking afterwards, Sir Alex played tribute to the twins whilst also offering a few more thoughts on a semi-final date, explaining,

"The twins have so much energy and enthusiasm, I`m absolutely delighted for them."

"We`re in the semi-final and semi-finals are always important for any club."

"We have won the FA Cup more times than anyone and it`s a good part of our history."

"I`m not always in favour of playing the semi-finals at Wembley, but we want to make sure we don`t miss it."

"It was difficult to pick a team with Tuesday`s Champions League game against Marseille in mind, but we tried to balance it."

If we do draw Bolton or Manchester City in a semi-final, anyone else reckon the game should be played in the north-west or is Wembley mandatory for all?

It's neither of the twins first goal, Fabio (who you've mistaken for Rafael, understandably) already scored once this season against Wigan whilst Rafael also has already got a goal and it was against Chelsea. Both of them were brilliant on the wings and linked up really well. With these two we've got no concerns about the future of the full back position. World beaters in the future i reckon.

Haha, if it's worth anything I can't tell 'em apart either, just stating that they have both already got goals in United colours.
