United - Rooney to Leave?

There are dark rumblings ahead!

The News of the World is running an article that infers that there could well be a parting of the ways this summer between Manchester United and Wayne Rooney.

Earlier this season there was that infamous period whereby Rooney insisted he wanted a transfer but was subsequently rewarded with a huge new contract with a weekly salary that many of us see as obscene in these troubled financial terms.

Back then Wayne muttered about the squad not being good enough and once again such mutterings, according to the NOTW are surfacing again. But it looks like Sir Alex is having none of it with a source offering the following comment to the Sunday tabloid,

"Rooney has been moaning about the squad again, but Sir Alex has told him he should look at himself first before criticising others. Sir Alex is not pleased with the way Rooney has been playing."

The only problem being that, as the tabloid quite rightly points out, who`d be willing to break the bank to sign the player who, in many a person`s opinion, hasn`t hit the heights he has before this season.

Manchester City perhaps?

Nah, even as a Chelsea fan I will say this, Fergie won't sell to Citen and Chelsea won't buy, Real might but Barca can't.

City fans would be in uproar if this piece of excrement was allowed anywhere near our club. Keep him, sell him to Macclesfield, don't care, we'll just laugh at how Fergie managed to break a £30m player.

rooney isnt going anywhere...he just needs another healthy season with a proper pre-season training...no worries...

Fcb – some said that about Tevez did they not?
Red Boy
Did fergie break Tevez? Looks OK to me.

Funny thing is fcb, those fairweather fickle fans will welcome Rooney with open arms, heck I bet even your manager, owner, coaches, board and players would.
