'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Youngster Targeted by United!

The grapevine s alive with the suggestion that Manchester united are keen to capture a young Turkish midfielder.

Currently playing for Besiktas, United are, reportedly, locked in a battle with Barcelona for the promising 16 year-old talent - Muhammed Demirci.

I may be biase but I reckon he`d prefer Old Trafford to the Camp Nou - wouldn`t you?

Anyone else getting tired of the "youngster", "prospect", "one for the future" bull*****, our midfield needs re- enforcing now ffs.
Kanchelskis
Well said Kanchelskis, every week we are linked with the latest hottest youngster prospect, while its great that we reinforce our youth team, we need immidiate re-enforcing in the first team. Its blatantly obvious with the season we have had, that we need some creative spark in the team, I will never ever question SAF, how can I, but it pains me to see United play without the complety game control, we used to see in previous seasons.. We cannot go on like this for another season, fans nor players would applaud this.. However, in SAF I trust, and United I follow.

I would love to see a world class signing who's relatively young thus providing that much needed creativity as well as a future talent. Pastore looks like a brilliant player, nutmeg after nutmeg, bursts of speed and slow jog controlling the momentum of the attacks and he knows where the net is and his surrounding players. 10 goals in 25 games for Palermo speaks volumes and my personal preference, him or Hamsik. My only worry is if our current youngsters who look like future stars, Petrucci for example, will leave because there's no space for them to break through, the same manner Barcelona youngsters leave Barcelona for other squads. We've got to trust Fergie.
