No Excuses for Liverpool Performance

No Excuses for Liverpool Performance

The media blackout imposed after the Martin Atkinson shenanigans is started to bore me!

It`s starting to make us look as if we`re behaving like spoilt schoolboys as wel as starving this hungry amateur journalist of some decent quotes.

Thankfully though, some quotes have surfaced relating to that awful Sunday at Anfield where we lost a second Premier League game on the trot.

Fulfilling his obligations to pen some programme notes for the forthcoming FA Cup quarter-final tie with Arsenal, Sir Alex Ferguson has scribed about the Liverpool nightmare away day,

"I have no excuses for the poor performance at Liverpool, who were the better team and deserved their win."

"I was disappointed because we didn`t perform to the level I expect and which, to be fair, we generally achieve."

It`ll certainly be interesting to see if Sir Alex gets the desired response form his side in the forthcoming Arsenal game!

Well there wasn't. It was childish to introduce a media blackout but you know the questions the media would've asked were going to be an attempt to 5hit stir.
