United - A Berbatov Stitch Up?

With United staying tight-lipped on all subjects, the tabloid press are doing their best to stir things up.

This morning their attention is focused on our Bulgarian striker, Dimitar Berbatov, with the tabloids taking great delight in pointing out that he`s not scored since January 25th.

In doing so they totally ignore the fact that Sir Alex Ferguson has been shuffling his pack for away games, often selecting a lone striker to forage alongside wide midfield men pushing forward.

Pressing home their insistence that the 20 goal striker is worried about his plight they`ve dug up some quotes from Dimitar, that could, quite literally, have been lifted from last week, last month or even last year, such is their determination to press home their point.

See what you make of them,

"Sometimes you don`t play well or don`t score and in those times the pressure comes from all around you, as well as yourself."

Like I said, they could have come from any time as the tabloid hacks do their utmost to keep the most news worthy club, in the country, in the limelight!!
