United - Valencia Comeback Latest!

Having just lost Nani, courtesy of an awful challenge from Jamie Carragher, we`re approaching a situation whereby we could be welcoming back our Portuguese winger at roughly the same time as a long-term absentee, Antonio Valencia.

Whilst Nani contemplates a short spell on the sidelines nursing a badly bruised and gashed shin, Valencia has been slowly recovering from an horrific leg injury he picked up in the Champions League tie against Glasgow Rangers, back in September.

The latest on the comeback trail is that Valencia took part in a training ground match, at Carrington, involving some youngsters and senior professionals and came through it successfully. Following on from that, Valencia took part in a first-team training session yesterday, at Carrington, and is now looking towards a return to the first team.

Could the end of this month witness the return of both Nani and Valencia as we head towards that crucial run in? I`d like to hope so!

no nani for the arsenal and marseille game is a huge blow and could see us out of all cup competitions before we even get our first choice wingers

Why have you got a picture of Nani above an article about Valencia?

Nice to see the Glazers aren't keeping all your money for themselves - they're giving some of it away to yanks! http://www.buccaneers.com/news/article-1/GFF-Reaches-Out-Through-Facebook/1ed467af-5e28-4173-8fea-37da42859f21
