'If It's Football, It's Vital'

United - Nani Latest

Although it appears that Jamie Carragher offered Nani an apology on Sunday, it`s understood that Nani wasn`t very receptive to the offer.

In fact the tabloid press are reporting that Nani wanted nothing to do with his assailant as he hobbled onto the team coach.

The latest musings about the injury suggest that the medical staff were shocked at the depth of the gash and that a full diagnosis cannot be carried out until the severe bruising has subsided.

The early indications are that Nani will be out for at least three games and with something akin to a news blackout being imposed by the club Nani has taken to using his Twitter account to thank those United supporters who have offered their support, commenting,

"Thank you for your support after my injury I hope to be back really soon."

And meanwhile the villain in this incident is allowed to carry on as if nothing ever happened - criminal!

In one sense Nani was right to tell him to stick his apology on the other hand it would've been better to let bigones be bigones.

"criminal"? LMAO

At least Rooney has an excuse for his poor performance against the Scousers - when he heard that "Nanny had a huge gash" he just couldn't concentrate on the football any more. ;)
