United - Press Conference

Now maybe it`s because Sir Alex has bigger fish to fry or maybe its because his patience with the media has been sorely tested, but reports in the tabloid press infer that the press conference scheduled for today has been cancelled.

Perhaps Sir Alex is more concerned with viewing for himself the fitness of those he`d like to be fit for Sunday!

Perhaps Sir Alex has an appointment with Chris Smalling after the defender went off the rails (slightly) on Tuesday evening, following our defeat at Chelsea!

Or

Perhaps he`s decided that silence is the way forward!

A wise move. After his touchlince ban being issued he knew what questions he was going to be baracaded with. We all know what his responses would be as well.
