United - Nani Superstition
Superstition has always played a part in football.
The game is littered with player`s who adopted peculiar habits in the belief it benefited their game.
Some like to be the last out, others put one boot on before the other and some simply just say a silent prayer to themselves.
But, our Portuguese flyer, Nani, seems to have developed a ritual that is strange to say the least.
We`ll let Nani take up the story abut wearing his socks back to front,
"The first time it happened by accident."
"The kit was new and I didn`t know which way to put them on."
"I realised I had got it wrong when everybody else had the Nike tick at the front."
"But when it came to the next game, I thought, 'No, I might wear mine like this again."
"Since then it`s become a superstition."
Being someone who gets irritated if the heel on my socks isn`t quite aligned to where it should be, I can`t imagine how uncomfortable wearing socks back to front must me!

Without a doubt Redboy, it's just annoying if your socks don't feel "snug" (not sure that's the term to use). I'm slightly concerned that Nani didn't know what way to put socks on but, hey whatever, because of his back to front socks he is the best right sided player in the Premier League and a strong contender for the world par Ronaldo and Messi.
