United in Spanish Striker Link!

The word on the streets is that our strike-force will be depleted this summer.

We`ve heard that Michael Owen will be moving on, thereby leaving us one short up front.

If so, that could very well be the reason behind the stories emerging that United are showing a genuine interest in the Spanish international striker, Fernando Llorente.

Currently on the books of Atletico Bilbao, the striker is rumoured to have a 34million buy-out clause in his contract, quite a fee.

He`s also suggested that he`d only leave Bilbao for an elite European club - do they come any more elite than us?

Err, no thanks. Owen might be leaving but we're getting back very talented strikers in the form of Welbeck and Macheda and a decent striker in Diouf. I expect one of the three to stay next season and help push for the league title.

Exactly, no need for anther striker, I predict Welbeck to make a huge impact, and with little Pea, Rooney and Berba, we have no need to spend big on another striker. Use the cash for a top goal keeper and an outstanding AM. Cleverly migth just do the trick though.
