United - Giggs Hits Two Milestones

After over-coming an injury Ryan Giggs didn`t quite make the starting eleven last night.

However, the Welsh international did make an appearance as a substitute thereby notching up league appearance number 606 equaling the record set by the legend that is Sir Bobby Charlton.

Ryan will, no doubt surpass that milestone in the next week or so and on the day Ryan celebrates 20 years with the greatest club in the world, we reckon he`ll be a little bit rueful that the milestones achieved coincided with that loss to Chelsea, at Stamford Bridge.

Even more reason to ensure we beat Liverpool, at Anfield, this Sunday then!

A true professional who has been brilliant. One of football's finest left footed and left sided players, even still. A tad different this season though, his frustration, hunger and desire has shown more now than ever with him acting a bit more rash.

Can't disagree with any of that, much as I'd like to! He is one of my all-time favourite non-Chelsea players and he has done most of it without sticking his nose into anyone else's business! Shame there aren't more like him!
