United - Kuszczak`s Future!

Having signed Anders Lindegaard and with Edwin van der Sar having announced he`ll be retiring at the end of this season, there could be a right old scramble for the keepers jersey next season.

Unless United sign someone else, we`d hazard a guess that Lindegaard will be the prime candidate which, reading between the lines, doesn`t auger well for Tomasz Kuszczak who is quoted in the paper as having recently remarked,

"To play well I need to play regularly. I`ve shown when I get a run my form gets better. Now I`m waiting for my managers` decision."

Something tells me it`ll not be too your liking!

If we sign another keeper I can't imagine Kuszczak hanging aroung for too long. If we don't sign another keeper then next season will definately be an interesting one and the man inbetween the pegs will be decided by whomever performs the best.

The great dane is one for the future, he is not ready to step in as number 1 yet, he simply has not got enough experience from a competitive league. Kuszcak would have been exposed more to first team apperances if he was to be our number one. I think we will buy a strong established keeper, and have the Dane as number 2, which means Kuszcak will leave.
