United - Owen Injury Update!

Rumours in circulation this morning infer that the groin injury picked up by Michael Owen is more serious than first thought.

The inference being that the thirty-one year old could well be sidelined for a three month period thereby effectively ending his United career.

For Owen, who has been dogged by injuries, it would be a sad ending to a United career that, it`s safe to say, hasn`t hit the heights many of us would have hoped.

Let`s hope the rumours relating to the diagnosis are just that, rumours!

Though good news it's nothing to get particularly hyped up about. He will be helpfull during the run-in but wont make any significant on impact on the first team.
