Rooney`s Best Goal for United?

Rooney`s Best Goal for United?

Has there ever been a better goal to win a Manchester derby?

Has Wayne Rooney ever scored a better goal?

Was Sir Alex Ferguson`s decision to play Rooney instead of Berbatov vindicated?

We`re not sure of the answers but a certain Wayne Rooney has no doubt about the answer to question number two, commenting about his wonder strike yesterday,

"It`s definitely the best goal of my career and it rules City out of the title race, barring a disaster."

"It`s a great feeling to get a goal like that in such an important game."

"I`ve seen it a few times on television since and I just wanted to keep my eye on the ball and get a good connection."

"Nine times out of ten they end up in the stand. But it was great to see the joy on the faces of the supporters and the coaching staff."

"To be honest I wasn`t too pleased with my overall performance today, but I spoke to the lads and they said to stay up there in the box and you will get your chance. Thankfully I did and managed to put it away."

"I just saw the ball coming into the box and thought 'why not?" So I tried it and luckily it went into the top corner - especially as it got us the three points."

As for the unanswered two questions, anyone like to give us a clue to the answers?
