Rossi Contract Extended

Rossi Contract Extended

Talented youngster Giuseppe Rossi has signed an extention to his contract which will keep him at Old Trafford until 2010.

Rossi, the US born but Italian (er?) striker has started just six games so far in the first team though definately one for the future.

Sir Alex Agrees!

'We are delighted that he has signed a new contract He represents the future of the club'

If Ruud leaves, no doubt Rossi will then be given a chance to stake his claim as a third, if not second choice striker, and he's clearly happy that he's staying on even longer:

'It is great to have extended my contract with the best team in the world. I just hope to keep progressing and developing my career.'

I agree Marcus, the lad has looked impressive so far. Too similar to Rooney perhaps though?
