'If It's Football, It's Vital'

United - Hulk?

There`s always a case for listening to a professional`s views but sometimes you get the impression that there could well be a little bias in any statement of intent made.

Take the case of Anderson, who in the media this morning is openly quoted as having suggested that his Brazilian compatriot, a striker known as Hulk who currently plays for FC Porto, would be a great signing for United, when he proclaims,

"He has quality, would suit English football and I think he is good enough to do well at a big club."

"If it was my decision then I would sign him but Sir Alex Ferguson signs the players and his knowledge would mean he knows all about the player."

"We are playing well this season but we always look for reinforcements."

We probably are but the we, we suspect, doesn`t include the playing staff!

Hulk is a brilliant talent and at 20 mil arguably worth the gamble but at the same time what's the point of buying so many youngsters if we're not going to give them the chance?
TheFamousNo7
Hulk at £20m? LOL. His price will be something like £35m (his buy out clause is £84m) and we all know manure can't afford that much money.

LOL a Spuds fan. How is your new stadium search going?

They're losing out to Westham of all teams by the sounds of it kanchelskis, pmsl. Elldiablo I say 20 mil because he still relatively young and that, in my eyes, is how much you pay for one of his age and ability. Would you pay 35 mil on a player who may take a turn for the worst or just not adjust to the Premier League? Bearing in mind a lot of Brazilians struggle in the Premier League he would be a gamble.
