United - Rio Injury Blow!

Any hopes that Rio Ferdinand will be able to shake of his recent injury quickly appeared to have been knocked back.

The latest we`ve heard, via the tabloid grapevine, is that Rio will be out for three weeks instead of the previously declared two weeks.

If that is the case then Rio will miss the fixtures against Manchester City (Premier League), Crawley (FA Cup) and Marseille (Champions League).

Chris Smalling is, therefore, likely to deputise in all three.

The only real concerning game out of the 3 is City but even then I don't expect them to attack us or even for us to commit to attacking them.

I'm a bit worried with how well he will handle Tevez, but if Fergie trusts Smalling's ability I guess I will have to as well.
