United - Celtic Full Back Tracked?
Yesterday was a quiet day on Vital Manchester United!
I contracted man-flu and decided I`d slip under the duvet and not emerge until I felt better!
In doing so I missed a couple of transfer snippets, with one being the inference that Sir Alex Ferguson could well be looking to sign a left back to give Patrice Evra some further competition for his position. After all there`s nothing like competition to keep you on top of your game.
This particular snippet inferred that Sir Alex had identified the player he wanted as the Celtic defender Emilio Izaguirre.
Now we know very little about the player but what we do know is that Sir Alex was present at the Glasgow derby on Sunday, could he have been spying or was it simply something to takes his mind off of the painful defeat suffered at Wolves the previous evening?

Didn't realise it was 100-posts an article at VMC fcb? Also hasn't Evra got contest in Fabio and O'Shea, granted not really enough to challenge him but I doubt someone who can challenge for a position in the squad would be happy with a role on the bench.
