United - Ferguson Reflects!

Well that`s the unbeaten run ended!

I guess when you analyse our away form, it was always going to happen on the road and perhaps this loss will take some of that pressure talk of an unbeaten season brings with it.

After the game, Sir Alex Ferguson spoke about losing for the first time in the Premier League this season, commenting about the performance,

"The players have done us proud but they didn`t really get going today."

"We were very slack. In the second half, we were not at the races."

"Wolves are strong and we`re a handful at set-pieces, and that cost us."

"The consistency we have shown over the last two months has been so terrific so this was a big disappointment."

But, it`s time to look forward and with the prospect of a fantastic derby with Manchester City looming, Sir Alex gave an insight into a possible selection policy ahead of the game, remarking,

"The Manchester derby is a massive game and it is something to look forward to. Unfortunately we have internationals in midweek, which is crazy but we have to get on with it."

"We have plenty of players who are not involved in international games and they will all play next week."

"We have to give consideration to the ones who are travelling, have to play, and then come back for the City game on Saturday lunchtime."

Anyone care to guess who`ll be rested then?

No doubt City will be looking for the draw with their "if you can't win don't lose" philosophy.
