United - Evra Deal?

United - Evra Deal?

The rumours, relating to our left back; Patrice Evra, possibly moving to pastures new, come this summer, appears to have stung United into action.

This morning the tabloid press are reporting that Manchester United are seeking to hold talks with Evra and his team relating to securing a new deal that will keep Evra at Old Trafford for the rest of his playing career.

Hopefully, the player who signed for us for what now appears to be a bargain sum of £7 million some five years ago will be receptive to the idea.

Good to see the 'galacticos' effect wearing off on todays players. Only the incredibly naive and relatively young will think they're going to Real Madrid and will win everything. It has been clear for a while now Real Madrid are not and most probably never will be the force they once were and players like Vidic, Evra and Cole see that.
