United - Midfield Duo Linked!

United - Midfield Duo Linked!

Did anyone else notice how we only changed the game around against Southampton yesterday once Sir Alex stuck the golden oldies, Scholes and Giggs, in the middle of the park?

Until then we were floundering and this apparent weakness could very well be the reason why the Sunday tabloids are carrying rumours linking us t some fresh midfield talent.

The first name in the frame is that of Jordan Henderson, with the Sunday Express implying that we`ve won the race to sign the exciting twenty year old for a £20 million fee this summer.

The second name in the frame is that of Charlie Adam, the Blackpool midfielder who Ian Holloway has said will play for a top four club.

Both deals are tipped to go through this summer; it`ll be a long wait for this piece of gossip to be confirmed then!

Don't get what all the fuss is about Charlie Adam TBH. OK ploayer, but not top-4 quality by a long way. Ho Hum,l if he's worth £8-10million then I might just start to believe old red-nose when he says there's no value in the market these days.
