United - Berbatov Rescues United

United - Berbatov Rescues United

At 2-0 down last night and with Blackpool buzzing, it took a supreme effort, from United, to bet back into the game and take the three points on offer.

At the heart of that comeback was a two-goal blast from our leading scorer, Dimitar Berbaotv, who has now scored 20 goals this season.

Following the gathering of three more points, Berbatov commented on the spirit within the camp following the conclusion of the game, remarking,

"We have the mentality that we can even win when we are 1-0 or 2-0 down."

"We are always confident that if we can score one, we can score even more. Although the first half was not so good, we overcame that obstacle."

Considered by some as probably being on his way last summer, after an indifferent campaign last time around, Dimitar appears to be in the form of his life but is there more to come?

The Bulgarian certainly hope so when he further added,

"Personally, I hope this is not the best football of my career - I hope the best is still in the future in a United shirt."

And so do we!
