United - Dimi Matches Ruud

Our congratulations go to Dimitar Berbatov for his three goal spree this afternoon.

His hat-trick, wonderfully taken, also saw the Bulgarian become the first player to hit three hat tricks in a season since 2002/2003 when a certain Ruud Van Nistelrooy achieved the feat.

Now who did he play for?

That`s right, wonderful free-scoring Manchester United!

who would have thought this after last season lol :| the main problem with him though is that he is not that effective without rooney, which is a problem as when rooney is missing its like we are missing berbatov too

You can see why with yesterdays performance reddevils4ever89, Rooney just creates play for the players around him from the centre of the park. We need that creative attacking mid who is also capable of doing that for when Rooney isn't there or to even help Rooney get the goals rather than the assists.
