United - Mirror, Mirror!

United - Mirror, Mirror!

The lofty position Manchester City temporarily occupy in the Premier League seems to have generated a situation whereby their confidence is now bordering on arrogance.

One recent recruit, in particular, seems ready and willing to shoot from the hip and provide an opinion or two on subjects that he really doesn`t know what he`s talking about.

Mario Balotelli, a modest gentleman if I ever saw one, seems to believe that after ten minutes in the Premier League he`s seen enough to cast judgment on all sort of matters.

One of these matters pertains to the accusation that our own Wayne Rooney isn`t even, in Balotelli`s view,

"He`s good but he`s not the best in Manchester."

Obviously, considering the personal accolades Rooney collected from both his fellow professionals and football writers, something that Balotelli knows much more about.

He then comes out with the outrageous inference,

"Our attack of me, Tevez and Dzeko is the best in the world, better even than Barcelona and Real Madrid."

Nothing like boosting your self confidence but perhaps we should chide that out of those three, Dzeko has played one Premier League game whilst the other two both yearn for a move away from the Council site.

Does anyone else get the impression that Balotelli starts his day by standing in front of the mirror and chants,

"Mirror, mirror on the wall, who`s the fairest of them all?"

How's "two-goals-from-open-play-since-march" Rooney taking the news then?

Balotelli only one league game? Strange that as I had his stats down as played 9, 2 as a sub and scored 5 in the league? 2 appearances in the Europa, 1 as a sub and scored 3? That's 8 form 11 in my book, but obviously I'll bow down to your unbiased mathematical genius... Also Dzeko has always maintained his love of Italian football, but came to us and cleary stated we were the only team for him. Tevez withdrew his transfer request that was submitted for footballing reasons and not money and remains on the same contract. Conversely Rooney stated he wanted to leave for footballing reasons, but stayed and got a hefty wage increase, go figure...

On a side note, can't wait for the Wikileaks stuff to come out about Rooney's tax dodging...

Ah right, my bad, you were actually referring to Dzeko, still Mario's stats make for nice reading eh? Add to that tevez's 14 league goals and suddenly Shrek pales into insignificance right...?

Whay is the point of Vital Manchester Utd? No one hardly replys to your articles except when you provoke opposition fans with stuff like this. Pointless waste of a fan page.

Right Mr Balotelli if your attack is so good why aren't you playing with the Barcas, Madrids and Milans, oh, thats right. With that ignorant attitude he should fit right in at City, that is until the harsh reality hits him and he, like Tevez, throws his dummy out of the pram.
