United - Iberian Interest in Youngster!

Rafael seems to be the focus of many a journalist in the past couple of days.

Hot on the heels of his FA charge, following his dissent after his sending-off at White Hart Lane, comes the suggestion, from one news source, that his performances have attracted the attention of a certain Pep Guardiola.

Now it`s no secret that the Barcelona boss is an admirer of free flowing football and his Barcelona side play with a real swagger. Therefore, we can only deduce that Pep has been suitably impressed by the foraging runs forward Rafael is fast making a name for himself on to decide that he could be a lucrative acquisition for the Catalan giants.

But, we doubt whether Sir Alex Ferguson has any intentions of encouraging any attention from the Iberian Peninsula for a player that should become a mainstay of our side for years to come!
