United - Rafael Admits Charge

United - Rafael Admits Charge

Having run the gauntlet Rafael now has to face the music at the FA Headquarters.

The subsequent charge, leveled at our Brazilian defender, following the harsh second yellow card he received at White Hart Lane and his subsequent emotional outburst, had to receive a response by early yesterday evening.

Rafael had the choice of accepting it or challenging it with the possibility that the latter could result in an extend ban if the appeal failed.

Therefore it`s not surprising that Rafael has accepted the charge and will now hope that the FA will show some leniency for what some feel was an outburst that although we cannot condone, wasn`t one that deserves to see the player made an example of!
