Rooney Sent Off

Little bit of in game news.

Wayne Rooney has been sent off for England for an apparent stamp/step on Ricardo Carvalho.

Interesting to see what the pundits make of this after the game, whilst I've never been an England fan, I think thereā€™s a chance it was accidental (somehow). Rooney had to put a foot down somewhere; unfortunately the Chelsea mans Carvalho's testicles got in the way.

In fact gentically the United fans I drink with are nearly as English as city or county. Ronaldo you slimey little cocky arsed piece of s***. Get out of the Prem. Real, come and get him. Good ridance.

His behaviour was shocking. I dont believe it was a stamp, but his behaviour just after got him sent off. Theres one person Wayne Rooney can blame, and thats himself.
murph
first i think it be a deficit if ronaldo left but after his behaviour he deserves to be sold the only way ill be fine if ronaldo leaves is if he leaves with a big price tag i want a good 35 million for him so we can spend that money on players who are dedicated to the team not ********s that think therye above the world now. ronaldo needs to know who made him famous MANCHESTER UNITED. and about rooney that was very very harsh *****in referees a cheater hes sent off to many english people i hate em but in 4 years we WILL WIN!
karim

greyhound you are spot on,ronaldo was a disgrace and all you man utd fans better voice your anger and boo and jeer him if he wears your shirt again.i hope rooney gets ronaldo alone in the locker room.
carlton owl
if you get decent money for him and ruud ,spend it on carrick and torres it will improve your team no end.
carlton owl
I hope Wooney gets his own back on Ronaldo at man utd.
red_gilly
I have always enjoyed watching Ronaldo play but what he did yesterday he has lost all my respect I had for him as a player. Instead of letting him go to Madrid make him stay and finish his contract with the club, I am sure that will be more of a punishment having to take what the fans dish out week in and week out rather than leaving. Also it might teach him that although you are playing for your country, you don't get a team mate deliberatly sent off, that's why we have referee's.
dino
Of course, if the referee was of any quality he wouldn't let players influence his decision.
NeilBaker
If Rooney behaved like all the foreign players he would of been rolling around the ground long before he had chance to kick Carvalho in the nuts!!!!! It should of been Rooney getting the freekick. How come Carvalho gets away with man handling players all the time?
dazza71
simply put...sore losers what happened in that game has happened since the existance of football on this planet... go ahead and say that you guys, the english, are better than that and that you don't resort to that type of game...but you know what?...thats bull*****...you guys are just as dirty (if not dirtier with yr tabloid bull***** press)...grow up and tell davey boy to stop crying portugal advances, england goes home...maybe you could go to the algarve and watch the rest of the games there...the portuguese economy could use some *****er pounds...
pedrosa420
even though rooney got sent off doesnt matter cause ronaldo and rooney are still friends anad they will be because rooney is not a bad person he is good dats y he made ronaldo his friend again
