United - Beckham Dream Dies!
It would have been something for the romantics to drool over!
The suggestion that the former United hero, David Beckham, could be making his first appearance for Spurs, against United this Sunday, certainly got the juices running.
But, with Harry Redknapp still not certain of Beckham doing anything other than train with the London club, the dream looks to be just that with Harry having already ruled out any chance of Beckham participating by remarking,
"He is trying to recapture his fitness but it`s going to take him a few weeks."
"Manchester United would not be a non-starter even if he does sign; he is not fit to play yet."
Oh well, I suppose there`ll be another time, perhaps!
