'If It's Football, It's Vital'

United - The Wise One!

Sat watching BBC2 last night and the coverage of the West Ham v Birmingham Carling Cup tie, after all it was football, I was deep in thought!

With United having signed Anders Lindegaard and also rumoured to be in the market for another keeper, what with the future of Edwin van der Sar being uncertain, I couldn`t help questioning why we let Ben Foster go.

Last night, Foster, almost at will, kept West Ham United at bay with a series of fine saves.

It began to look, to me, as if we may have been better holding on to Ben and then came that calamitous error that gifted West Ham the winner and then it dawned on me, the wise guy was 100% right again, wasn`t he, when he let him go!
