United - Sacked?

Having witnessed the carnage that accompanies being a football manager, most recently the removal from office of his own son, Darren, at Preston North End, Sir Alex has a few views on the subject published in a red-top tabloid today.

When asked about the situation, Sir Alex had this to say,

"Nothing surprises me any more and if I was to lose a few games people would be doing the same to me, there`s no doubt about that. Three or four years ago my shelf life was up and I was out of the door and that`s just the way it is today."

"I would like to see the day when people start talking about sacking players."

"Players should be judged the same way as managers."

"Of course it`s not fair, but managers are on their own really and they take great credit for how they keep their dignity and the resilience to carry on. It`s something about us all."

Sacking players! Now that would be something! Who should we start with first then?

Shrek for being ugly.

Would you sack a player who you could actually sell and get decent money for?
