'If It's Football, It's Vital'

United - Carrick on the Way Forward!

Losing two points in such dramatic is always hard to take.

As the final minutes of a game approach you know that, leading by a solitary goal you always run the risk of conceding a late equaliser but when it does come it hurts.

Michael Carrick, in the media, explained exactly how the side felt whilst also trying to rid the camp of any thoughts that it will be a critical loss of points, explaining,

"It`s easy to get carried away with that result and we were certainly down when we came off the pitch."

"Late goals are always hard to take but given how it happened we feel hard-done-by. But it`s done now, so we have to dust ourselves down and move on."

"We`re still in a good position when you look at the bigger picture."

"We haven`t lost, we`re in good form. So we go into the next game looking to keep up the momentum."

"We`ll be ready, we will recover from this, we`ve come through the game with no more injuries."

"The squad`s looking strong now and we look forward to the next game."

Having watched all the leading contenders of the title, over the festive period, I have to say that we`re certainly looking the best of the bunch!

"Carrick on the way forward" For someone who's first inclination when he receives the ball is to go backwards, thats funny.
