'If It's Football, It's Vital'

United - This Is What`s Needed!

United sit two points clear at the top of the Premier League table.

We`re two points clear of our local rivals, Manchester City, but we also have two games in hand our Roberto Mancini`s side.

Align that with the fact we`re unbeaten, in 17 games, this season and things are starting to look rosy.

However, the gaffer remains perfectly aware of how title are won and has spoken, to the red-top media about how one side, hopefully us, could kick on and win thus league if ours, explaining,

"It`s been such a strange league this year that if somebody had the bottle they could take it by the scruff of the neck. If any team went on a winning run of about 10 games, they would win the league. We`ve done it in the past."

Before moving on to give a brief synopsis of how our season has gone so far, commenting,

"We hope that we`ve cut out the stupid mistakes we were making earlier in the season."

"A lot of people said we weren`t at top form but we`d had some good performances although not of a consistent nature. I still believe that our performance at Everton was as good as we have had in the past few years. We could have been six up but lost two goals in the end and only drew."

"That was interspersed with some ordinary football, like away to Sunderland. We need to start winning away."

And, despite leading the pack, it has to be said that our away form remains our Achilles heel does it not! Far too many draws, time to put that right starting at Birmingham this Tuesday evening!
