'If It's Football, It's Vital'

United - Bruce Tips Us!

At times yesterday, it looked as if United were going to do to Sunderland what they`d done to Blackburn Rovers, such was their dominance.

But all credit to Sunderland who refused to buckle and put up a decent second half performance.

Steve Bruce though has seen enough to convince him that he knows where the destination of the Premier League title lies this year, remarking to the media in his post match interview,

"History tells you United get stronger in the second half of the season."

"They seem to thrive on it and I wouldn`t bet against them (winning the title)."

"You hear people saying they`re not playing that well but they`re unbeaten in 17 games this season. That`s not bad is it?"

It certainly isn`t although there is a long way to go still!
