United - Giggs in Wales Comeback?

United - Giggs in Wales Comeback?

England fans should be a little worried!

After a couple of displays, under Fabio Capello, whereby we`ve looked far from the business, we`re approaching the small matter of a Euro qualifying tie, or two, with Wales.

Now Wales have started poorer than us but you sense that the Welsh are a galvanised nation now that John Toshack has been replaced by Gary Speed in the managerial chair.

Speed has started well with all the right noises coming from the chair, already there is talk that Speed will use his youngsters but will supplement their guile and youthful ability with a recall of several of the older faces known to the Welsh fans.

Already Robbie Savage has expressed a desire to give it another go with Wales and Speed is keen to entice our very own Ryan Giggs out of international requirement with the new Welsh manager remarking,

"I spoke to Ryan last week and we will have to wait and see. It would be great to get him involved in some respect."

"I want to bring the best people in for the sake of Welsh football. I want a good coach to do the day-to-day coaching sessions while I do more team shape."

"Then I would like an experienced man behind me who has had experience at maybe Premier League and international football because I`m relatively young."

Have the Welsh finally got their act together?

Will Ryan renounce his international retirement?

Will England suffer as a consequence?
