United - Today We Are Signing?

United - Today We Are Signing?

Hidden amongst the plethora of rumours relating to potential transfer deals taking place in the very near future, Manchester United are linked with two big-name players.

The first of these is the Wolfsburg striker - Edin Dzeko.

Dzeko has, this weekend, been linked with a move to Chelsea or Manchester City but now it seems that United are prepared to enter the running, although, if true, at what price level remains to be seen. A fee of £35 million is quoted but we reckon that was plucked out if the sky!

The second player we`re linked with is an attacking midfielder who plays for Zenit St Petersburg - Danny!

No price is mentioned but with both Ryan Giggs and Paul Scholes approaching the twilight of their fantastic careers it wouldn`t surprise me if the midfield is one area Sir Alex Ferguson is keen to bolster given the chance!

I suppose the papers wouldn't sell if they wrote "Cleverly to be given a chance".
