UEFA Pair United With Marseille!

UEFA Pair United With Marseille!

It could have been worse!

With the legend that is Sir Bobby Charlton unable to attend, as requested, the draw in Nyon today for the first of the knockout stages, thanks to the icy weather, you get the feeling that Sir Bobby would, if he had of been there, would have been pleased with the draw.

United managed to avoid the danger teams and were given a tie against the French side, Marseille.

Now having watched Marseille when they encountered Chelsea, I have no fears about us progressing, however I do have fears about our supporters returning to their stadium where tear gas is something of an obligatory occurrence whenever an English team goes there in a meaningful fixture!

Let`s hope I`m wrong!
