United - Fabio and Wayne in Milan Link!

United - Fabio and Wayne in Milan Link!

As we wait for the big kick-off at Old Trafford, which is now only a mere thirty minutes or so away, I thought I`d bring to your attention one of the wilder rumours doing the gossip rounds today.

According to our Italian sources, Fabio Capello is being line dup to replace Rafael Benitez at Inter Milan.

It then goes on to suggest that Fabio would then attempt to take a certain Wayne Rooney to the San Siro to kick start a new Inter era.

Now normally I`d dismiss such tripe but on the day Blackburn Rovers depart company with Sam Allardyce, only a week or so after another manager sat happily in mid-table was sacked (Chris Hughton), I guess any thing can happen in this crazy game of ours!

I wonder where Rooneys loyalty lies to, Crapello, his national coach who left him frustrated at the world cup and who doesn't have a clue what he's doing or with Fergie, arguably the best manager in the world. No brainer really.
