'If It's Football, It's Vital'

United - Evra Opens Fire!

The relationship between Arsenal and Manchester United always used to be a frosty one.

Confrontations between the two clubs used to be the norm and on more than one occasion clashes have seen the Football Association become involved.

Therefore a little part of me wishes that Patrice Evra had kept his mouth shut instead of trying to rile Arsenal with the following,

"Arsenal, a big club like that and they have not won a thing for five years? For me that is a crisis and a load of rubbish."

"To my mind Arsenal are an Academy team. I`ll watch one of their games and enjoy it, but in the end will they win a trophy? That is what people remember you for."

"People are beguiled by Arsenal`s style, but in the end what do they have to show for it?"

"We could lose to Arsenal next Monday, but what would there be for them in the end/ Nothing - there is no trophy for them."

"Our real enemies are Chelsea. We look out for their results more than Arsenal`s"

"Maybe I seem arrogant in saying this, but if Manchester United don`t win the title it`s down to Manchester United."

Oh dear, looks like the blue touch paper has been lit!

I don't think the blue touch paper has been lit. Evra thinks he's playing some kind of mind game that's helping his team get the upper hand, when ifact the reason you've had the upper hand has nothing to do with his bitchy remarks and everything to do with you being the better team. He just comes across as a massive idiot. No wonder the French team was such a shambles.

Boating won't change the fact that Evra is a cock brat615. But I guess that's all most rags fans are good at - boasting.

Atleast we can boast about something physical and real rather than a future which looks less and less likely to happen with each year that passes.

He's not wrong in too many cases either. Maybe not so much a 'crisis' as such but still unacceptable that a big team has gone so long without a trophy. And Chelsea are our main contenders, Arsenal do so well at the start but as it hits the business end they collapse.
TheFamousNo7
i want him to stay because evra is brilliant come on united!!!!!!!!!!

TFNo 7, isn't it time to change your username given that your famous no 7 has left? Anyway, the main reason we were not able to replace some key players in the last 3-4 years was something called Ashburton Grove - its a 400 million pound, 60,000 seater state of the art stadium which you may have heard about! The Grove is paid for now and we will be challenging for titles every year for many years as usual. Dont know if your finances will keep you as competitive as us.

Sounds like a load of excuses to me being honest Deltaforce.
