United - De Laet To Stay at Preston?

Our young defender, Ritchie De Laet, looks to be staying put!

Currently on loan at Preston North End, his second loan destination this season, the Preston boss, a certain Darren Ferguson, looks set to appeal to his dad to extend the loan spell with Darren quoted in the media as having remarked

"Hopefully we will extend it until the end of the season. He`s a good player with great pace."

Sounds like a good Christmas present to me!

Seems like the wise move to me, he will only sit behind Rafael, O'Shea and Neville for RB, Evans, Smalling, Brown and O'Shea for CB and Evra, Fabio and O'shea for LB. He has got some fierce competition so he really needs to prove himself and step up!
